How we make money
Kreditano earns an affiliate commission from its partners when you choose an offer through our links. This adds no cost to you and does not change the terms the financial entity offers. Our compensation does not determine the ranking or editorial assessment of products.
What we are not
We are not a bank, a fintech or a lending entity, and we do not grant loans. We are an information and comparison service; the financial product is always provided and contracted by the institution you choose.
Editorial team
The people writing here are a small team — editors with years in Latin American banking and financial journalism. Not a generic «content team»: every guide is reviewed by someone who actually knows the subject. We keep the voice deliberately human, because there's already too much financial writing that sounds like a manual.
The offers in the comparator are checked against each bank's and fintech's public rate sheet. When an institution moves its rate, we update as soon as we notice — sometimes the same day, sometimes within a week. If you spot a stale number, write to us; we fix things quickly.
How we review what we publish
Before we put up or update a guide, someone reads it against the institution's own pages and, where relevant, against the Superintendencia Financiera's public certifications and figures. Then at least one other editor reads it. Rates change; every article carries a last-updated date so you can tell how fresh it is.
Experience and trust (E-E-A-T)
We produce our content with accuracy and transparency, citing official Colombian sources such as the Superintendencia Financiera (SFC), the SIC, the Banco de la República and Datacrédito. We review information periodically to keep it current.
Editorial policy
The editorial team is independent from the commercial team. Affiliate relationships with banks and fintechs do not determine the order in which offers appear, the recommendations in our guides, or editorial coverage. Default sort across the site is by ascending E.A. rate (cheapest first) — comparing by total cost is the only fair way to rank offers.
