Personal data we collect
We may collect identification and contact data (name, email and, where applicable, phone) when you complete a form or request, as well as data about the financial product you are looking for. When you browse the site we collect technical and navigation data (IP address, device and browser type, cookies and usage identifiers) for operational and statistical purposes.
Sensitive data
Kreditano does not request or process sensitive personal data. Please do not send us sensitive information through the site.
Purposes of processing
Primary purposes: to provide you with comparisons of financial products, respond to your inquiries and, when you request it, connect or redirect you to your chosen financial entity. Secondary purposes: to carry out statistical analysis, improve the site and, where applicable, send you informational communications. You may object to the secondary purposes by writing to contact [at] kreditano [dot] com without affecting the main service.
Transfers
To connect you with the product you choose, we may share the data you provide with the relevant financial entity or commercial partner, solely to process your request. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Cookies and tracking technologies
Functional cookies remember language, consent, saved offers and technical continuity. Analytics and marketing tools load only after you authorise them in the cookie banner; you may reject or revoke that permission through your browser.
Web-push notifications
If you enable alerts, we store your browser's encrypted endpoint, public keys, language, approximate country and product interests. We record sends, displays and clicks to enforce frequency limits and measure delivery. You can revoke permission in your browser's notification settings.
Your rights as data subject (habeas data)
As data subject you have the right to know, update, rectify and delete your personal data, to request proof of the authorisation granted, to revoke it, and to file complaints with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) for breaches of the data-protection regime. Retention and security
We retain technical and security records only as long as needed to operate and protect the service. Web-push subscriptions remain until you revoke permission or the browser reports that they are invalid. The currently active direct-click mode does not store personal application forms on this site; if a form is enabled, its specific retention period will be disclosed.
Browser extension (rate calculator)
The Chrome and Edge extension calculates the loan rate and cost locally. Values you enter are stored only on your device through the "storage" permission. The extension cannot read pages you visit and does not inject content into them. To keep the applicable cap current, it downloads only the public file https://kreditano.co/data/v1/co-credit-rates.json; this connection may disclose normal technical data such as IP address and browser details to the server and Cloudflare. Entered amounts are not part of that request. If you voluntarily click the offers link, the browser opens Kreditano.co with the selected amount and term.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version will be published at kreditano.co with the date of the latest update.
